Full Time Creative Director - Job Description
Ultranative is searching for a talented and visionary Creative Director to join our venture studio based in Austin, Texas. This is an exciting opportunity to lead creative strategies, oversee content development, and drive impactful social initiatives for a portfolio of forward-thinking companies in industries including psychedelics, cannabis, aerospace, and others. The Creative Director will play a key role in shaping brand identities, executing marketing campaigns, and enhancing our portfolio companies’ outreach efforts.

Candidates must be based in Austin, Texas, and will work out of our vibrant office in the heart of Austin.
Job Overview
Responsibilities
- Design Leadership: Lead and execute creative projects across branding, design, digital content, and visual storytelling for Ultranative and its portfolio companies.
- Marketing Strategy: Develop and oversee integrated strategies for marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with company growth goals and audience engagement across digital and social platforms.
- Content Creation & Editing: Produce and edit high-quality content, including info-graphics, presentations, and marketing materials, to enhance brand visibility and consistency.
- Social Initiatives: Drive social media strategies and manage community engagement to amplify brand messages and foster community around the portfolio companies. Initially these will include our incubations such as Moonwalk, ECCO, Noble Pacific, and MINDS.
- Collaboration with Portfolio companies: Work closely with Ultranative’s leadership team, Entrepreneurs in Residence, and portfolio companies to develop creative solutions for go-to-market strategies.
- Market Awareness: Stay informed on design trends, industry best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure Ultranative’s brands stay innovative and impactful.
Requirements
- Experience in design software, particularly Photoshop, with a proven portfolio showcasing creative excellence.
- Experience in Marketing and Branding with a background in driving successful marketing strategies and executing multi-platform campaigns.
- Strategic Thinking & Problem Solving: Ability to align creative vision with business objectives and think critically about brand positioning.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Able to present ideas clearly to diverse audiences and work collaboratively across teams.
- Strong Project Management Skills: Capable of managing multiple projects, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment.

- Experience leading creative projects within a startup, venture studio, or fast-paced, innovative environment.
